As if bacon wasn’t addicting enough, let’s smother it in sugar and pepper. Seriously, now you can serve bacon for dessert. Try and eat just one, just try. It’s impossible.
Eating it alone as a treat is amazing, but here are a few more ideas for your candied bacon:
- dip in your favorite milkshake (try it, it’s so good!)
- Crumble and top on sopapilla cheesecake
- Wrap in beautiful parchment paper, tie with string and give as a gift
- Mix in scones
- Crumble and bake in your favorite cookies
All you do is take your favorite bacon (I love the really thick-cut kind), mix it in 1/3 cup brown sugar and a sprinkle of pepper.
Lay the bacon on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
For super amazing flat, crispy bacon -
Top bacon with another sheet of parchment paper and another cookie sheet!
Bake in 325 degree oven for about 35 minutes. DONE! The most amazing bacon candy is ready to eat!
